Shoreham House

Builder :  Bernie Everett Building

We love the latest project from Bernie Everett Building, one of the Mornington peninsula’s most highly regarded builders. The BE team is committed to quality building practises and Bernie is on hand to oversee and ensure they deliver. This particular build was designed by Ewert Leaf Architects.

It’s a stones throw from Shoreham beach and the client wanted a simple, no fuss design but with first class finishes inside and out.

External Timber Cladding

Feature Timber: Silvertop Ash

The specified timber cladding is Silvertop Ash which unfortunately is becoming harder to source due to changes in Victoria’s native logging laws. We’re still able to source it but supply is probably only going to last another year or so.

In this case we’ve supplied 122 x 19, tongue and grooved, end matched cladding with a machine coat of Cutek Extreme CD 50. Bernie’s painter has applied a further two coats of Cutek Grey Mist stain to give the timber a silvered, pre aged look. In this case we’ve achieved a stylish, beach house just in time for summer.
